We would be happy to have your group meet at Gisborne Peak Winery. The site offers a casual, fun and friendly atmosphere. The cellar door is surrounded by vines making the wine taste even more delicious! Visitors can sit on the open-air deck or in the all weather marquee. The site is an all-weather venue, so you don’t need to worry about the weather forecast.

We offer a tutored wine tasting to all groups, and make it fun as well as a learning experience for everyone.

Group Package 1:

Our all inclusive package.

Start with appetizers consisting of hot finger food items, garlic bread served with olive oil, fresh vegetable and biscuit platters with dips, followed by all you can eat pizzas served hot out of the woodfired pizza oven. Finish off with a tempting dessert and a complimentary tea or coffee. Wine Package #1 is included (Pinot Noir Top Block 2004 & Chardonnay/Semillon Blend 2005). Wine Package can be upgraded for an additional $6.00 pp.

Group Package 2:

Food Package #1, but wine not included.

As per package one, but wine is paid on consumption. Wine, beer and soft drink available at cellar door prices.

Group Package 3:

Tasters Platters and all you can eat pizza.

Taster’s Platters are savoury platters with 3 cheeses, 3 pestos, smoked meats, etc, served with warm Turkish Bread, followed by wood-fired pizzas. Wine, beer and soft drink available at cellar door prices.

Cost: $21.00 per person
Children between the ages of 4-10 $12.50 pp*

Our Delicious Food:

Pizzas: Wood-fired pizzas are offered on the weekends and public holidays or by prior arrangement for 10 or more people. Pizzas are served to the group hot from the pizza oven and a variety of pizzas are served, ensuring hot slices of pizza for everyone, including vegetarians. Pizzas are served buffet style and not individual serves or orders.

Tasters Platters: Taster’s Platters are savoury platters with 3 cheeses, 3 pestos, smoked meats, etc, served with warm Turkish Bread

Appetisers: A variety of hot and cold finger food.

Dessert: by pre-arrangement a choice of dessert can be offered.

Coffee, Tea, & Water:all complimentary. Instant only

Wine Package can be upgraded.

No BYO food or drink is allowed. Groups must be pre-arranged.

Wine:

All of our wine is served by the glass or by the bottle. Your group may want to purchase a bottle, or two, for the group or ask each visitor to pay for drinks at our cellar door prices. Wines cost between $15.00 and $28.00 per bottle, $4.00 - $9.00 per glass and we have a Reserve Pinot Noir at $38.50. Our Unwooded Chardonnay (2006) is very popular with groups and costs $17.50 per bottle as well as our Pinot Rosé at $19.50 per bottle.

We also stock beer and soft drinks.

*Children Between the ages of 4-10 $12.50 pp As the cellar door and deck is situated next to a large unfenced dam and there are two other dams on the property, children are asked to be seated at all times or to be accompanied by an adult while they move about. We appreciate the co-operation of parents and ask them to be aware of the ambiance and comfort of other visitors to our winery.
