It's Racing at Kyneton, and it's the very first 'Macedon Ranges Cup Meeting'. It's on a Sunday, 25th March 2012 and the gates open at 11:30 a.m.
The whole race grounds is transformed into a showcase of all things Macedon Ranges, with local food, local wine (including us of course), entertainment, bands and two great innovations - 'Bubbles Central', which is a marquee full of Macedon Ranges Sparkling Wines and a bubble machine to give it character and, get this, a 'Touch Up Tent' - for the ladies please! This is a tent dedicated to giving your make-up a freshen-up and a place to keep yourself 'nice'. What fun!
Gisborne Peak will have a small marquee on the grounds and we will be selling 'Sangria' by the litre. Our chilled Rose mixed with lemonade, spritz, fruit and ice. How nice. And another benefit: a little lower on the alcohol side too. We'll also have some sparkling wine, chilled whites and our Pinots too.
Come and join us at the KYNETON RACE TRACK kyneton.countryracing.com.au/ on the day.
If you are looking for a place to stay, we've got that covered too. We have a special on the cottages for a two-night stay and it includes all sorts of specials. For only a few dollars more you get: Two Tickets for entry into the Race Track ($30 value), a bottle of GPW wine or Sangria at the Race Track (up to $30 value) and a delicious Picnic Hamper for Two from Monsieur Pierre of Kyneton. Plus our lovely eco-cottage accommodation.
