'Budburst' Wine & Food Festival 2010 @ Campaspe House, Woodend

Budburst Wine and Food Festival 2010 – now in its’ 20 year, this regional festival brings out the best in local wine, food and music.
5 Wineries in One Place: Join us, Gisborne Peak Winery, along with Ellender Estate, Mount Gisborne Wines, Curly Flat and Chanters Ridge Wines on the lovely lawns of Campaspe House, Woodend. We will have some new release wines and some specials.
Activities: Throughout the day there will be wine option games, a tutored tasting of wine and a wine quiz too.
Live music throughout the day. Starting at 10:30 is Myles White on guitar, and from 12:30 - 4:30 is Mood Swing, a 3-piece combo playing all the favourites and some of their own.
Garden Tours: Tours of the Edna Wallling garden will be held throughout the afternoon.
Food provided by Chef Steffan of Campaspe House looks delicious. Join us for 'Budburst Brunch & Bubbles' at 10:30 to enjoy breakfast tapas and a glass of sparkling wine. Tapas will be available throughout the day including Confit of Western Plains pork belly, choux croute, apple tart tain, Tapas of Salmon 'Facon Scandinavia', Edna's Garden tomato Tarte tatin, goats cheese green leaves, coffee infused creme brule, mocha ice cream, Macadamia and hazelnut, Cognac parfait, berry compote, Symphony of Chocolate and a Selection of cheese, muscatels, lavosh and pear chutney.
